𝐋𝐢𝐟𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐑𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐞 𝐔𝐩𝐝𝐚𝐭𝐞:
Life doesn’t love me – and preorders makes things more stressful, especially when unexpected events pop up.
So I’m taking a break from preorders – at least for awhile, unless it’s needed – like shared worlds and 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐣𝐞𝐜𝐭: 𝐀𝐝𝐚𝐩𝐭.
𝘔𝘰𝘷𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘰𝘯…
So, as a few of you have noticed 𝗪𝐢𝐥𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐕𝐞𝐫𝐝𝐮𝐫𝐞, 𝐂𝐨𝐬𝐦𝐢𝐜 𝐕𝐚𝐥𝐨𝐫 and 𝐑𝐞𝐰𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐬 had their preorders canceled – and 𝐌𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐌𝐢𝐧𝐨𝐭𝐚𝐮𝐫 was pushed back to fit the shared world’s schedule better.
𝗪𝐢𝐥𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐕𝐞𝐫𝐝𝐮𝐫𝐞 will be a May live release.
My SFR Trilogies – 𝐂𝐨𝐬𝐦𝐢𝐜 𝐇𝐨𝐧𝐨𝐫 -and- 𝐂𝐨𝐬𝐦𝐢𝐜 𝐓𝐡𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐅𝐚𝐭𝐞 – have become passion projects. I knew that I was taking a chance writing them, and I don’t regret it, but I need to adjust my release schedule.
My plan is to write both books 2 and 3 for each trilogy and release them concurrently. Why? Well, neither book 1 has paid for itself, and it’s demoralizing to work on something that the bulk of my readers don’t like/want to read. I hope that by releasing volumes 2 and 3 together, I will be able to promote each trilogy as “complete”, and maybe they will get the love that they deserve.
Truthfully, I love the universe they are in (they are in the same universe, but in separate regions) and won’t abandon it. I’m only postponing their stories. I want to spend my time perfecting them for the readers who enjoy them.
I hope to finish 𝐂𝐨𝐬𝐦𝐢𝐜 𝐓𝐡𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐅𝐚𝐭𝐞 so that the special edition trilogy omnibus can be available at the 𝘔𝘰𝘯𝘴𝘵𝘦𝘳𝘰𝘵𝘪𝘤𝘢 convention in May 2025, especially since I already have the cover.
Recently, I’ve realized that in order to keep my muse happy, I need to switch between stories, which is why I’m currently working on seven different stories, all of which are at various degrees of completion/ready for publication. I’m hoping to keep her satisfied and start snowballing releases later this year.
I apologize if this has upset or inconvenienced you.
Anyway, I’m going to spend the majority of my time offline, keeping my head down and focused on my wonderful worlds.
